Chez Daniel de Palmas del Mar celebró su 30 aniversario
El Restaurante Chez Daniel de Palmas del Mar celebró su 30 aniversario con una exquisita cena de cinco cursos acompañados de una selección de vinos de V Suárez. Chez Daniel, que en francés significa en la casa de Daniel, fue creado hace 30 años por el Chef Daniel Vasse y su esposa Lucette, un poco más tarde llegó el chef Frank y Valerie Arnould también de Francia para convertirse en sus socios y amigos. Las hijas de ambas parejas, también han tenido un papel muy activo en el restaurant. Son ellas Severine y Celine Vasse y Aureli Arnould.
La noche estuvo llena de sorpresas y grandes emociones. Uno de los momentos más emocionantes de la noche fue cuando Chef Daniel Vasse, vio el video que le grabaran sus amigos y colegas chefs de sorpresa con un mensaje y reflexiones sobre su persona: Chef Jesús Herbon de Kasalta, Chef Augusto Schreiner director del Art Cooking Institute, Chef José Rey de Compostela, y Chef Franco Secarelli de Secarelli Ristorante.
Como parte de la celebración Chez Daniel preparó un divertido collage de fotos viejas de la familia así como del restaurant , de Palmas del Mar y de muchos de los clientes presentes.

The International TV Show Salsa and Flavors from Puerto Rico is a TV series recorded in Puerto Rico that will offer the television viewer of the USA and Europe a scoop of our most treasured gifts, that is, our exquisite cuisine; shot on the most beautiful, majestic and seductive sceneries of this enchanted island, Puerto Rico including Palmas del Mar, of course!. In Palmas del Mar the show was filmed with Daniel Vasse, chef and owner of Chez Daniel Restaurant, a fine dinning French restaurant established at Palmas del Mar for more than 25 years. Daniel also own Tapas Bar at Chez Daniel and Bistro Rico, a more casual Bistro featuring local food with a french twist. The three restaurants and bar are located at a privileged site right on a dock (Anchor Village) at Palmas del Mar were you can relax overlooking the boats and the water.
The show will showcase the whole fun process of cooking; where our ingredients come from, how we cook them and eventually see them become a mouthwatering platter. Because Puerto Rico has so many delightful flavors, a different recognized chef will host each show. This will bring to the program versatility and will offer the viewer more options of our Puerto Rican cuisine. Caguas inicia campaña de turismo con evento gastronómico-VÍDEO
La campaña enfocará sus esfuerzos hacia el turismo gastronómico con una campaña que incluye un evento de degustación.
Caguas.- El alcalde de Caguas, William Miranda Torres, anunció el inicio de una campaña turística de verano, cuyo objetivo promocional invita a visitar la ciudad como destino gastronómico y diseñado para apoyar este sector comercial.
Con el lema “En Caguas hay un lugar para tí, visítanos y anímate a probar nuestro sazón”, la Oficina de Desarrollo Turístico, adscrita a la Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico municipal, enfocará sus esfuerzos hacia el turismo gastronómico con una campaña que incluye un evento de degustación por los diversos restaurantes de la ciudad.
